age in soiaf.
I've been rereading the series(because as we all know, the new book is coming this year...), and encountered quite the dilemma regarding tyrion, cersei, and jaime's age. tyrion is mentioning that he have already experienced 8-9 winters before the current long summer, now we know that jaime and cersei are 2 years older then he is(by jaime story concerning the fact that he was 15 when the " Tishe event" accord). now lets say that each of the winters and summers he have experienced lasted for 2 years, and add to this the 10 years of the current long summer, we now find out that tyrion is approximately 48! and adding that to the fact that this makes the twins 50(!), i just don't see how that might be possible... plus, the prince of dorn mentions that 20 years ago, while he and his sister visited Casterely-rock, Tyrion was "just another ugly baby". so,who's telling George?
