ACOS vs 6DOIT

הבנתם כבר מהכותרת נכון?! לטעמי, 6DOIT יותר...מושקע...למרות שעוד לא התעמקתי בדיסק השני, הראשון פיצוץ... אוקיי, אז לצ´ינג´ אופ סיזנס, יש את השיר אה צ´נג´ אופ סיזנס בדיסק אחד השירים הכי טובים ששמעתי של דרים, מבחינת האורך, ההשקעה, הכל...! אבל עדיין אני חושב שהוא לא מגיע לקרסוליים של הדיסק החדש... סגנון חדש, מעיין "עוד פריצת דרך" בסטייל המשוגע של דרים... לטעמי, 6DOIT יותר טוב... בשביל לעזור לכם, צירפתי מאמרון של איש שהסביר למה הוא אוהב יותר את צ´נג´... ווווואלה: 1.Song-Structure ACoS: very clear structure, you have a cool instrumental beginning, a introduction into the storyline (if you can call it so), a at first very soft, then very hard part, a godlike instrumental section, the - in my oppinion best part of the song - fall back to the soft, beautiful melodies part, which´s increasing into a very hard part, a cool (soft) guitar solo, then a "Let´s rock"-part and then a cool ending theme. 6DOIT: there´s no story, only a theme, so the parts of 6DOIT don´t build that one-song-feeling that much, the song is very slow - except part 3 and 4 - and I thin it´s a little bit too slow, because sometimes (the guitar solo in the end of "About To Crash", Grand Finale in it´s entire, ...) you think DT plays THAT slow because of the track length, some beats more in a minute wouldn´t be wasted, don´t get me wrong I really like the classic stuff, but when it would be faster, the song would be even more genious 2.Song-Sound Both ACOS and 6DOIT have perfect sound quality, the drums sounds "fat", you can hear every instrument 3.Song-Complexivity (is it complexivity, in german it´s "Komplexivität"???) ACoS: very complex and technique, a lot of different time signatures and tempo changes 6DOIT: sometimes relative simple (Solitary Shell, even when a part is in 7/4), only a few different time signatures (7/4 in About To Crash, TTTSTA and ATC(R) for example), sometimes very slow 4.Song-Story ACoS: About a boy getting a man and MP´s mother´s death 6DOIT: About human insanity, differnent kinds of it are introduced 5.Song-Lyrics ACoS: very good lyrics with metaphors (german "Metaphern") and interpretable verses 6DOIT: sometimes very very simple (ATC,ATC(R)), quality not as good as the song, lyrics are dark, but the song is often very light 6.Song-Length ACoS: 23:09 (shorter, but with more structure) 6DOIT: 42:04 (to decrease the track length 5 minutes wouldn´t be bad) This comparision leads to a victory of ACoS, in nearly every point, but I really love 6DOIT, too. I can´t wait until saturday when I will see it live in Dusseldorf!

אי אפשר להשוות

את הדיסק הראשון של 6DOIT ל ACOS כי פשוט אין קשר בסגנון, ACOS הוא יצירה, 6DOIT הראשון הוא פשוט שירים, די פשוטים אפילו, בלי יותר מדי שינויים, אתה שומע שזה שיר עם מוטיב חוזר. אבל! לדעתי באמת 6DOIT השני יכול להתחרות ב ACOS (לא בטוח לנצח, אבל להתחרות) בקיצור! שניהם מעולים, וזהו!!! בלי פאניקה! יובל

הבחור (שכתב באנגלית) טועה בגדול

ההשוואה לחלוטין לא נכונה, במישור המוזיקלי. 6DOIT עולה בהרבה על צ´יינג´ במורכבות שלו. אם מסתכלים רק על משקלים, הניתוח לחלוטין לא היה נכון (About to crash, לדוגמא, הוא ב5 רבעים, ובריפרייז בכלל המשקל משתנה בתדירות מדהימה). מבחינה הרמונית, 6DOIT הרבה יותר מורכב, רב שכבתי, ומעניין. מבחינה מבנית, המבנה של צ´יינג´ מאד חלש, ובגדול הוא כולל 7 שירים נפרדים לחלוטין בלי שום (!) קשר ביניהם (לעומת המבנה המעולה והרחב של 6DOIT). מבחינת הטקסט, הטקסט של צ´יינג´ באמת יותר טוב, ומבחינת הסאונד ומה נותן יותר בראש... קשה לי להחליט. אגב, לדעתי 6DOIT, מנצח בגדול מבחינה אחת - הוא יצירת האוטובוס המושלמת, צ´יינג´ ממש נופל מהבחינה הזאת, כיוון שהוא מספיק אצלי רק לחצי נסיעה...
