a tough question (personally)-windows on Mac
Hi all - Fist - sorry for the English... Just bought a new mac in Holland (where I reside) and until my mom comes over with the Hebrew keyboard - I'm in English... Well - It seems like I will have to install windows on my Mac after all (unless another idea will come up here...) I bought this new MacBook for the purpose of remote-studying in the Open University (the Dutch one...). I bought with it the Office-for-Mac student package and it's working fine (I need Excel, PP and mainly - outlook - for which I use Entourage) There is another application, called "Blackboard BackPack" that is used by the university to help with remote studying. this application is .... for Windows (why oh why?!) only. Now - Theoretically - I CAN install Windows, and if I understood correctly, I don't need to create partitions or to use Parallels, but - how should I do it (if at all?!?) and keep my mac a mac (healthy)? Does anyone know the "BlackBoard BackPack" in a mac version? If not - Is it better to use Parallels or install windows directly? If so - how should both methods be done? (I'm proud to say that I have NEVER owned a PC, and never had to endour the charmes of Windows if not for work reasons - so I'm ignorant...) So - will I have to install windows on my (5th so far) Mac? (If anyone here knows Dutch, I can send you a link to the OU site, to see the requirements - if that helps... but otherwise...) Thanks in advance for the help
