A first report from Budapest
Hi everyone, in case you missed me I am in Vienna having a rest from an aweful end to this year and hoping the next one will be better. I have one report vrom Budapest and I am glad to tell you all that the DSE doctrine (dissert somewhere else) is growing in popularity here also. The Place I would like to recommend in Budapest is called Cafe Kor, it is located in Sas Utca which is a walking distance from the center of Budapest. Its a small place reservations necessary and I recommend getting there early to get a good seat. The cuisine is Modern Hungarian and you can find traditional dishes as well. For an appetizer we had the Kor Special, a mix of starters including Goose Liver Pate, Cheese Carpacio and vegtables. For our entrees I had the Beef tenderloin Goulash in red wine sauce and my traveling partner had roasted duck breast with apples on green pasta, both dishes were excellent, our dinner was accompanied with Hungarian Beer on tap, don`t ask me which kind. as for the DSE it took place at the most known Cofee House in Budapest Gerbraud in Vörosmary Tere we had some Tukay wine with cofee and Cakes. Look forward to other reports from Vienna and Prague. Have fun Eyal P.S please try and post responses in english so I can read them
