how and when do you check your resting hr? you should check it first thing in the morning, even in bed if possible. Notice that there are many things that can change the result: lack of sleep, alcohol, caffiene, dhydration etc. about max hr, the better you are at a sport the higher your hr reaches - you become more effecient. It´s good and normal. my running hr is the highest i can get, much higher than my biking hr, although i bike about 2-3 times a week. btw, high resting hr (80) could also mean overtraining, but thats another issue. Are you feelingconstantly tired or some other disturbing things? lior
