שלום, אני עתידה לדעת בעוד כארבעה חודשים. אני מאוד רוצה להניק ואני מקווה שאוכל. הבעיה שלי היא כזו: בצד שמאל, יש לי פטמה שקועה ובצד ימין הכל בסדר. הפטמה השקועה לא כל הזמן באותו מצב וכאשר יש גירוי בפטמה היא נורמלית לחלוטין אך מהר מאוד חוזרת למצב הקודם. מאז שאני בהריון, הפטמות מזדקרות יותר וזה נתן לי תקווה שאולי לא תהיה לי בעיה בהנקה. שעתי שיש פטמות סיליקון שמחברים לשד וכך ניתן להניק. היכן ניתן להשיג אותן? האם יש אפשרות כלשהי שההנקה תתבצע באופן טבעי ללא כל עזר כאשר יש פטמה מסוג זה? האם יש שיטה שניתן להכין פיטמה כזו להנקה? אשמח לקבל כמה שיותר פרטים על הנושא. תודה מראש

Flat nipples

the baby feeds from the breast and not from the nipple, so you really dont have a problem. As long as your baby breasfeeds in the delivery room, and learns to open his mouth W-I-D-E

he will be able to latch onto the breast and get your milk. Make sure he does not get any artificial nipple, as in motsets or bottle, so that he will learn how to breastfeed. Silicone shields are NOT recommended in the first 3 days, and will actually prevent the baby from getting the colostrum, the early milk. I would suggest that you cokme to our workshop on Preparing to breastfeed which is given once a monthl.
