תהנו ! Growing Up: Nick Carter ((interview)) Boys have become men: after Kevin Richardson's departure, the most successful boyband of all time is as ambitious and grown up as ever before. Particularly sunny boy Nick Carter (27), who openly speaks about his weightloss and his new, peaceful life - but he doesn't have much good to say about Paris, Britney and Lindsay. 1Live caught up with him in Los Angeles. Nick, why did Kevin leave the band after your successful comeback? He decided that he wanted to do something different. Which doesn't mean that there has been any discussion between us. He just wanted to focus more on his family and his acting career. That's all. Will he be replaced? No, and we won't drastically change our music either. I mean, we're doing a few things differently, but there have been no drastic changes. This time around, it's just become a coherent album. Nothing sounds as if it could have been created by 20 different producers or songwriters. We really did everything we could to make this album the best possible. An album that doesn't drown itself because it has too many different styles on it. All tracks have this particular sound that kind of connects them to eachother. What makes it different from your previous album? I think that, right now, we're really strong as a group. That's why we called the record "Unbreakable" - since we all have the same view on things. And you can hear that in our music. When you hear it, you just intuitively say "Wow, that's cool!". And in my opinion, Unbreakable is much better than Never Gone. That album actually just consisted of a bunch of tracks all thrown together. Yet it did sell 3 million copies, which is a great achievement.
