hello, you serprise me with your choice of peter skellern, he was born, not far from here, where i live, and recorded the song with, the haworth, brass band!!!. my late father loved this song, as he loved brass bands. the song was a big hit here at home, when i was away in france. i did not get to here it until about 1976, and it allways reminds me of my father. love mary.xx
