צ'אד סמית התראיין לרית'ם מגזין (הריאיון המלא ייצא בנובמבר) הנה קטע מעניין שהוא אמר בריאיון:
When we were in alaska (touring), flea was like:" i don't want to make just another rock record. let's try to shake it up. maybe two guys will work together on tuesday, and me and josh or whoever..... break it up". we talked about doing that.
