צריכת זיכרון ב אופן אופיס

Hi, I upgraded from 2.2 (hebrew version) running on old laptop (pentium mobile M 1.5Ghz, win-Xp, 736Mb,40 Gb disk). To 2.4.1 (english version) Starting any of the suite's programs, consumes ~400Mb of memory which practically prevents me from working. I Used 2.2 ver long time-mem usage was ~200Mb. any known solution? I would be very grateful for any Idea ?... Thanks,

A Solution

Well - It happened too.... what you need to do is - to first create an "ODF" file on the hard-drive (using the New tool bar at right-mouse-click) and only then open it, the mem-usage of the OOo will drop sharply - and other application could be running in behind.... Hope I Helped

problem solved

The problem was solved only after deleting manualy the openofficeorg2.2 directory from the Applications Data (hidden directory in Documents and settings) in this dirctory templates and other user specific data is kept. thanks for your help
