החומר הכי קטן שממנו מורכב היקון הוא אטום. צ'י הוא לא חומר, מכיוון שהוא אנרגיה הוא לא יכול להיות חומר. צ'י: אנרגיה שנמצאת בכל מקום. באומנויות לחימה המטרה היא לדעת לרכז את הצ'י (קי ביפנית) בנקודה אחת וכך לגרום לנזק רב יותר ליריב. (או לשבירת עצמים קשים) זו המטרה של צ'י באומנויות לחימה.

אחי. בעצם איןכזה דבר ויש כזה דבר. אנרגיה היא חומר והיא לא עד שיוכיחו אחרת. הדבר הקטן ביותר שממנו מורכב העולם לא יכול להיות אטום כי מצאו חלקיקים קטנים ממנו שמהם הוא מורכב. ושנית כל מדובר בטענה פילוסופית שהעולם לעולם לא יכול להיות מורכב מחלקיק קטן מאוד ויחיד.
