מלפפון של וונקובר
hi i got a journal too but its on www.livejournal.com so i cant give address to it, i think anyways. I actually miss those huge cucumbers they taste like water too oh and the tomatos that have no taste or the fruit well the fruit is actually better than New York so you got a plus there. It will take you time to get used to things there its different than Israel but if you have any question of places to go an such you can ask me.

few tips
loll the food took us for ever to get used to and once you do you never go back. For me the sour cream was the hardest to get used now i cant eat it at all tastes like crap. if you and your family keep kosher there is a guy that sells meat and things from israel you may know him, just thought to let you know i can find out where he is and tell you i dont remember now. Oh and if you go traveling in Vancouver go to Horshoe Bay there is a resturant there called Troll's and they got the best fish n' chips.... oh i want some now

אני לא שומרת כשר.. וגם אם הייתי שומרת, זה נורא קשה פה ניראה לי הייתי מתייאשת מהר. יש לך מושג אם יש חנויות ישראליות בריצ'מונד? או בוונקובר? אני הייתי היום בחנות של רוסים ויש להם מוצרים מישראל.. מלפפונים חמוצים זיתים וכאלה, ואפילו במבה ביסלי
הייתי מאושרת כל היום!! ואת למה החלטת לעבור לניו יורק פתאום?

i reallly dont know any stores in Richmond, i didnt even know about the Russian one... but i think there are more and more israelis in Vancouver lately. You will see a lot in the spring summer for the cruise to Alaska. The reason that i moved was that my brother moved here two years after we moved to Vancouver and i had 3 years left to finish highschool. At that point we didnt like Vancouver cause there was nothing that reminded us of home (like in new york there are book stores, newspaper, people and such...) so i didnt feel like we fit in i guess. For my parents it was either going back to israel or trying it here. For me it was Toronto or here. I got accepted to UofT and Colleges here so i decided that i would go here since i got a lot of family here (uncles grandparents,parents and my brother was already here). I like the beauty of vancouver but not the people, thats my personal opinion. I think they are to square if you know what i mean.

גם אני חשבתי ככה
חחח גם אני חשבתי ככה שנחתתי ועוד שהתחלתי את הבית ספר מזה לא הסתדרתי בהתחלה כי הכל היה שונה... אבל אחרי שנתיים כבר התרגלתי והסתדרתי. מה את מתכוונת לעשות שם? ללמוד או לעבוד?

אני בדיוק כמוך מחכה שהזמן יעבור ומשתעממת נורא. בהצלחה בקורס, רק אל תתני לאנגלית להגביל אותך כי אחר כך אף פעם היא לא תשתפר. עם הייתי מכירה אנשים מריצמונד הייתי מקשרת אבל אני בקושי מכירה את האזור....

מחכה ל...
אני מחכה להתחיל את הלימודים שלי באוניברסיטה אז משועממת עד אז.... בקשר לאנגלית התכוונתי שלא תגבילי את עצמך(כאילו תחפשי עבודה ואנשים קנדים לדבר איתם) כי אחרת השפה לא תשתפר. אחרי כמה חודשים כבר תשכחי את הקושי שהיה לך.
