Pitria is part of the normal flora of the mouth. It is only when there is an imbalance, or more pitria than there should be that we treat. Usually that happens when you or your baby take antibiotic, or the baby is infected by another baby with pitria ( such as he gets another baby's motsets by mistake). In any case, if there are no other symptoms, you do not have to treat it, or put cream. Symptoms might be: crying during the feed, or that your nipples start to burn and hurt after the feed.
