עזרה עם ווינדוס 2000 סרבר

אז ככה, התקנתי ווינדוס 2000 על סרבר שמחובר לרשת של כמה מחשבים. הרמתי Active Directory והוא ה Domain Controller שלי ב Forest אחד ויחיד, כולה רשת קטנה... כמו כן פתחתי Scope שמקצה כ-50 איי פיים והדומיין שהכנסתי בהוסט זהה לדומיין של הדומיין קונטרולר. עכשיו, אם אני מבין נכון, אני צריך להכניס את המחשב לדומיין ואז הוא יקבל איי פי מתוך הסקופ, אבל זה לא קורה. אני לא מצליח לעשות את זה - הדרך היחידה שהקליינטים יכולים להיכנס לדומיין זה אם מלכתחילה אני נותן להם איי פי, ואז מכניס אותם לדומיין... וגם אז הם בכלל לא מקבלים הקצאה מהסקופ. אני לא מבין... התפיסה שלי לא נכונה? או שעשיתי משהו לא נכון? החשד שלי הוא שנתתי Domain Name שהוא מילה אחת, כלומר Home במקום home.local או home.net, זה יכול להיות העניין? אני אמנם לא מומחה בתחום אבל כבר הצלחתי להתקין את הכול ואני לא חושב שהיו תקלות כאלה... בעיה עם ה Exchange server גרמה לי להתקין מחדש ועכשיו יש לי את התקלה המדוברת שאני לא יודע איך לתקן. אם למישהו יש מושג מה הבעיה אני אשמח לקבל עצות, כפי שאמרתי אני לא מומחה אבל יש לי את הידע הנדרש כדי להרים את הרשת לבד ולטפל בבעיות, לכן אשמח אם תוכלו לייעץ לי במקום להמליץ לי על בעל מקצוע.. דבר שלא אפשרי כרגע. תודה רבה מראש.

god, if you're right I'm the biggest idiot on earth, but why wouldn't it get started automatically when I set up all the domain and scope options? it asked me if I want to enable DHCP. hope that's the case, I'll check it later today and report back, in the meantime I'd be happy to hear any more suggestions if that isn't actually the case. but thanks, I'll check that one..

dhcp authorization

You need to authorize the DHCP server in AD. The idea is to minimize the possibility of lame/hostile DHCP servers popping up and messing the network. (ya right ! everyone can still install non-MS DHCP server) p.s.: jet lags suck !​

well it works now

I actually deleted the scope and re-added it, I might have chosen the "authorize" option as well, I can't really remember. anyway at least it works like a charm now. thanks guys. oh, and you wouldn't happen to know why on some computers outlook won't give me an option to set up an exchange account and only pop3, would you?

I hate writing computer-related

messeages in Hebrew, and then switch to English every time I have to write an English computer term that sounds like sh*t in hebrew

Anyway, no - it's outlook 2000 on all the computers I think, some of them display this wizard when I first open outlook and ask if I would like to set up an account and what account it will be, the first option is exchange, but on other computers I don't get that wizard, the first screen is "please enter your name" and then I have the server setup screen for pop3 and Imap. I also tried searching for the exchange option under tools => accounts but no luck, seems like it only supports pop3 for some reason! am I missing something? or should I just re-install outlook or something.

As for the others, please, try sticking to Hebrew. As much as it sucks, this is still Hebrew based forum. Cheers from the shiny California

ואם כבר אז ננצל"ש לעוד שאלה קטנה

אני מניח שכבר הבנתם את אופי הרשת שלי, כמה מחשבים שאמורים להיכנס לדומיין ולקבל IP/DNS/GATEWAY, לא יותר מזה. האם עשיתי בשכל שהתקנתי Win2K family server? או שמא הייתי מפיק יותר תועלת מ2003?

In your case, you would not get much benefit from W2K3. One might call W2K3 a "W2K on steroids" - it's an improved version of W2K. If you have W2K licenses and upgrading to W2K3 will cost you money, you can safely stay with W2K, otherwise, W2K3 has better administrative tools and is a bit less buggy.​

הדומיין עובד, יש AUTHORIZATION, כולם נכנסים כמו מלכים ומקבלים איי פי! א-ב-ל... הבעיה מתחילה בענייני קבצים. ראשית אני מבין שבווינדוס 2000 ו XP מכיוון יש תיקיית Documents and settings לכל משתמש בנפרד צריך להעביר את המסמכים / שולחן העבודה וכו' מהתיקיה של המשתמש הישן לתיקיה של המשתמש החדש דרך שם משתמש עם יכולות Administrator, אחרת למשתמש החדש אין גישה לתיקיות של המשתמש הישן... אז זה הקטע המסריח הראשון, צריך לעשות את זה בכל המחשבים, אפילו בכאלה שהיוזר ניים בסרבר החדש זהה לסרבר הקודם, כי שם הדומיין שונה והוא מתווסף לשם התיקיה. לאחר מכן יש לי בעיות רציניות ביותר בהרשאות, היוזר החדש של הרשת החדשה כלל לא יכול לגשת להרבה קבצים על הכונן הקשיח שנוצרו ע"י משתמש הרשת הקודם או ע"י משתמש מקומי קודם! אני כבר לא יודע מה לעשות... תגידו לי שפספסתי משהו קטן והכול יפתר בדרך פלא, כי אחרת אני פשוט נואש.

איך העברת את הנתונים ?

האם השתמשת באפשרות Copy to או פשוט העתקת ?

איפה יש Copy to?

העתקתי דרך היוזר המקומי Administrator בין תיקיות המשתמשים. אני פשוט לא מבין את זה, היוזרים החדשים במחשבים לא יכולים לגשת לכל מיני תיקיות במחשב שלהם, לא יכולים להדפיס וכו'...
