) Israel itself is the biggest construct there is (this is not a criticism, but merely a statement of fact). Judaism and the Jewish nation have a very rich heritage (religious and secular), but that was considered not good enough... So they started inventing: folk music, folk dances, you name it. I'm sure Zvika Pik (lehavdil from Ze'evi, who is still referred to as Gandhi without the slightest hint of irony...) will soon be declared a national treasure (or have they already done so without telling me?).​
