To work in Spain you either have to have a Spanish passport, or you have to get a work permit - a working visa from the embassy. I think you can issue a student visa only if you have proof of registration to an institution (I don't know if random flamenco classes count....) I think if you stay in Spain for less than 3 months, you don't need to issue any special visa to stay there. But you won't be able to work there either....
