Marin county, Look at the link

I live near the redwoods, it is very beautiful. The deer come right to your window,, all green forests around, rivers, many animals, organic fanatic, sport fanatic, health fanatic and some are just Hippies. Remember Janis Joplin I am not saying I am a sport fanatic but there are so many riders coming here to drive through the mountains its not even funny, you really got to be careful when you drive not to run over one :) Also in the area is point Reye I am going there today if it is not that misty, I got to go and smell the sea .I miss it too much. It is 30 min drive from here through small little towns. Shabbat Shalom

Thanks

Good to hear some people do miss Israel, I thought I was the only one that struggles with living so far away from what I still call home sometimes.

I once started talking here about

how much i like israelis and how i miss it but then people just critisized me and my points of view so I got the message and stopped writing here... good to see, that you and some others like it too and don't call it a third world country or things like that.... yes it's not perfect but i was still born there and other countries are not perfect either!!!!

Don't be a drama queen ../images/Emo6.gif

People have different opinions and everyone accepts that here (you should see other forums!). The fact that no one who was taking part in that particular thread happened to share your views is perfectly legit and no reason to leave a forum (unless you can't stomach opinions that are not like yours). No one is trying to stop you from saying what you think. And as for a comment you made earlier, in the same way that not all gays share my views, it's not only gays who express the views that so disturb you - try other forums for Israelis abroad. You see, we are diverse - we have different views, so don't group us all under the same heading. And just for your general education, you should read some of Itay's other messages about Israel before you rush to categorise and praise him

I know, I do remember his other

opinions about Israel (itay's) but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt this time...hehehehe and I know we are all different and i know how it is in other israeli forums, you put two jews in a room and u get three opinions... but all I said is that the topics here are always gay related and very serious and it gets tiring (for me anyway) to talk about the legitimacy of some gay rights in some bum-fuck province of the upper andes in south eastern Peru.... (well u get my drift)... And of course the other topic of everyone thinking that they were born in Israel by mistake and they should have been actually part of the swedish royal family.... hehehehe I would much rather hear about your life in the netherlands or England, what you like about those places, what u do for fun... good book good movie, good food, good wine, good sex etc....hehehe At least that's my opinion, but again, everyone can talk about whatever they want so don't mind me...

Israeli forums

I've only been in this forum for a short time, but I like that people express their opinions nicely, even if the opinions are different than mine, people don't attck me about it, they just say they feel differently. I once wrote in forum of parenting when I was having a real difficult family situation with my son, and I dared using the expression - 'yeled mufra', and they almost ate me alive !!! I was so shocked that I stopped writing immidiately.

well well...

I see you're all commenting my messages :) This is where the long road to glory and fame starts. get out the fake tan, find yourself a stylist and prepare to drive a hard bargain when the tabloids come to call: you are now a friend of a star. And that's before speaking of my appearance in a music video! And I don't think my last message differs from any of my previous ones? Or at least from my usual stand? In any case, I haven't been very active on these pages for quite a while now, but it had more to do with lack of internet access and hebrew keyboard than with the forum itself. Actually, in a certain strange and slightly perverse way this forum has given me back some of the trust I had lost towards a lot which is Israeli, mainly because of some of the interesting discussions, and even more - the way people express themselves. It is true that usually most people here agree on the basics, so acrimony has never been a part of the shopping list, but also when not everyone sees eye to eye, it still seems to work fairly well. And to be fair - if you don't like the topics, start new ones :)

here is a topic!!!!

what should we tell the tabloids when they come interview us about you??? :) and which music video were u in exactly?? hehehe Anyhow, I did see that you changed your way of talking since last time i was here and it also makes me gain the trust or should i say the patience towards the forum again.... heheheh I am also happy to see some new faces here like loretail and gback who actually share some of my opinions.... So I'll try to start a new topic here and there, which doesn't involves gay rights in western Namibia.... p.s. last time i mentioned something about which wine i like I was blamed for killing whales for some reason....hehehehehe

I think

you have enough to tell the tabloids :) The music video was the most random thing ever, but I don't really know whether it's going to interest anyone here.

And as far as I can remember

you were accused of hurting the environment when you started laughing at recycling lil' me.

yeah but then from the recycling

I was accused of killing whales somehow, cause "all" I cared about was matching my wine to dinner.... Anyhow, which video was it? is it worth watching? heheheh ;) Anything hot at all??? If not then why should we bother with the tabloids? Give us some details before we bother openning the door to the 6 oclock news.... And a propos recycling... they combined the grey and the blue bin so we can mix...yay!!!! but the green bin still brings raccons...

my video...

a few months a go, got a phone call from a friend, asking me whether I wanted to appear in a music video. Of course I said yes, and went with her and her flatmates to this random hangar, where a Geramn singer called Florian Horvath shot his first brand new single-video: when the light came. All we had to do was walk around and hug each other, while a real dodgy guy with a very violent spot was walking around between us, turning his spot very randomly on hugging people. This went on for 6 painful hours, at the end of which I had my 2 seconds of glory hugging a very fat and very old woman on a music video. And yes, it was showed on German MTV and I was invited to the launch party :)

don't think i'll be watching german

MTV any time soon... hehehehe but if I see a fat woman hugging a... (what exactly are you???) the I'll know the story behind it.... hehehehe The most I got with celebs is when my roomate took me to a queer as folk party and I thought that it's just he theme and I told him that so many people look like the actors... and he told me "yes, it's a queer as folk party..." It took me forever to realize that they are the actual actors.... I ended up with one of the writers... it was a fun night ;) p.s. as u know, the american version is filmed in Toronto...
