זה לא בדיוק חדש שארה"ב לא הכי מתלהבת משוויון זכויות לגייז, אבל עכשיו התרגזתי. מתברר שבקנזס שפטו בחור בן 18 למאסר של 17 שנים, כי הוא ביצע מין אוראלי בילד בן 15. אילו הוא היה בחורה שביצעה את אותו פשע, העונש המקסימלי הוא מאסר של 15 חודשים. כלומר, בגלל שהוא הומו העונש שלו חמור פי 13. ואיך המדינה מצדיקה את זה שהעונש של גייז חמור יותר? כי בני נוער הם נוחים להשפעה ונסיון מיני הומוסקסואלי כזה עלול "להפיל" אותם להומוסקסואליות. פשוט מרתיח. אני מקווה שבית המשפט העליון של קנזס יקל בעונשו וישווה אותו לזה של הטרוסקסואל שהיה מואשם בעבירה דומה. עוד כאן.

I still remember Kansas... I actually thought it would be a romantic place and all (there's no place like home, wicked witch from the west kind of feeling), but yes... it was Kansas. Before starting to talk about the US being a "hypocrite non-democratic country" (non democratic? After living in the soviet union for the last two years, I can definetly say that the US is the biggest democracy I've seen. Democracy also means accepting what people want, even if most of them are religious dimwits), people should get a grip and also look at the US as a place of a lot of contradictions. Unfortunately, what you've just described is to be expected in Kansas, but is unthinkable in New England. This is just me trying not to be carried away by anti-american french and swedish general feelings. And hypocite? Paris has just celebrated the 60th anniversary of its liberation, where de Gaulle, his 16 divisions of the résistance and the French people all liberated all of France and Paris all by themselves! it was lovely... dancing everywhere, street parties, ceremonies, bleu-bland-rouge everywhere. You should have seen it
