King of the hill

some small town´s in here ARE JUST LIKE "king of the hill" the funny accent and all... they are just to much.. rednecks and hill billy´s. most of the good heavy metal from back around in 92´-93´ came from bands in texas,Dead horse for exemple right here in houston pantera imitated their style... and became big. King´s x are from houston to. and they are one of the many influences of dream theater,they owe them a lot. k

Cowboys from louisiana

they are from a neighbor state... and phil lives in new orleans in louiziana,since they broke up there is a new band with phil and some band members from the old band and one of my fiance´s friend´ is the drummer,the new band called "down" i saw them few monthes ago,preety good, the good old style of new orleans,heavy slow... k

New album?

From what i know here from the locals and from the guy that plays drums with phil in the new band,pantera broke up for good and some of them play in the new band "down" ,so for my knowledge they arent togethore anymore,even if they are getting back to do one more album i am sure it wont be good like the old ones... phil´s voice sounds bad this days.. k
