I am Ivo Boscarol, the owner and CEO of the Pipistrel Aircraft company We have been looking for a reliable partner in your country for a long time. We are receiving requests from your country, but our selling policy is conditioned by a perfect after sale service. We do not sell directly to a customer, but always through our distributors in each country. Up to now we were not lucky in finding the financially enough strong and technically endorsed partner.
This is the reason that I am contacting you if you would be interested to be our promoter or distributor.
Pipistrel is the most complex small aircraft producer in the world.
No one other have so wide range of products and own development, from single seater, 2 seater gliders, GA aircraft, trikes, electric and fuel powered aircraft to propellers, etc. to four seater is in the last stage of development.
We suggest you to check our Internet site and the sites of our distributors thoroughly to get to know our aircraft better. On our web site you will find all the data you need - all technical explanations, photos, videos, Power point presentations, 270 degree view of the cockpit, newspaper articles, test reports etc. Which will give you a better idea about the aircraft and our company.
Our company was founded in 1987 as a private workshop for powered hang-glider assembly. Back then, Pipistrel was the first and only Yugoslavian aircraft producer.
In 1992 the company was registered as a limited liability (Ltd.), keeping the name of Pipistrel. By that time more than 300 powered hang-gliders which still fly across the Globe were produced.
Introducing new ways of company leadership, we moved forward to aircraft manufacturing. At first, units under third party licence were being assembled, then, in 1995, development and production of own Sinus ultralight motorglider was launched. Soon after, Virus a fast cruiser with unprecedented flight safety features, also an in-house design went into production. The company's range of activity, as well as its sales' network have been spreading at a staggering rate ever since.
In 2004 the company moved to new premises, a total of more than 2.000 square metes of most modern production and maintenance facilities allowed a boost in production.
The company, including subcontractors, which produce parts for Pipistrel d.o.o. Ajdovscina exclusively, now employs over 70 people.
Our production is booked for 10 months ahead and the outlooks are promising, judging by current demand.
Since 2007 a 2.400 square meters design center, a completely energetically self sufficient from renovable sources building is offering the complete design requests. Including the laboratory for aerodynamics, structural and mechanical analysis, fast prototyping, advance composite design & production as well ground and flight testing.
New 3.000 square meters facility for the general aviation program near the existing building will be made this year. The daughter company Pipistrel LSA in Italy will start the construction of the
10.000 square meters facility for the assembly of the 4 seater general aviation aircraft capable of reaching speeds over 400 km/h which will be presented to public this year.
In 2010 Pipistrel was nominated by European Business Award the most innovative company in Europe.
Strife for perfection when it comes to manufacture, superb service and flight safety are our mottoes. We will continue to set new standards in the field of light aviation and push the limits even further.

There are eight (8) aircraft families in production, Apis, Sinus , Virus 912, Virus SW , Alpha trainer, Taurus , Taurus electro and Panthera
