H -- But it was over long before. M -- I'm sorry. H -- So am I...about not being able to tell you. M --- Were you afraid you'd look foolish? H -- Yes. M -- Well, you admitted that. It's hard to acknowledge weakness to someone who's weak, Harm. H -- You're not weak, Mac. M -- With men I am. H -- I can't argue with that. M - I'm not sure why we weren't able to work things out, Harm, but I don't think it's because of our lack of chemistry. It could be we're so stuck in who we are, we can't build chemistry with anyone. H -- That's a depressing though. M -- In any case, where does that leave us? H -- Back at the beginning? It's better than what they had. M -- Okay. Harriet now pulls up in the golf cart.}

In the script for Mixed Messages there was a scene between Harm and Mac that was cut out. It was right after Harm asks AJ for the Article 32 hearing. Mac hangs up, puts her head in her hands. Harm enters. H. You look like I feel. M. Thanks. What's going on with you? H. Renee dumped me two days ago...For a mortician....(it just gets worse) The guy that buried her father. They both almost laugh about it. M. Wouldn't have thought embalming was a good way to attract women. But then, we are talking about.... Harm knows that Mac is about to deliver a barb about Renee. But, Mac thinks better of it. Instead. M. You okay? H. (he is) Should've happened a long time ago. This way, no one got hurt. M. Not even a little? H. (smiles: then) What's happening on the Indonesian hospital watch? M. No one's seen Lylyana. H. She'll turn up. M. I keep thinking about her, Harm. And seeing the explosion. It's like I'm... H. (gently) Obsessed. M. (a little smile) Know the feeling? H. Hey, I am the guy you went to Russia with. (smiles) Did I ever thank you for that? M. Not in so many words. AJ enters. AJ. Mac M. Admiral AJ A word Commander. The Admiral steps out of the office. Harm gets up to follow, turns back to Mac. H. And thank you for not saying she wasn't right for me. He exits.

Mac: I didn't even think about that. I was soaked and Bud gave me one of Harriet's uniforms. Harm is looking at her. She is Diane. It's eerie. It's touching. She looks back to Harm. Mac: Would you have killed him? Harm: I'll never know. Mac smiles. It's Diane's smile. Harm can't resist. He takes her in his arms and kisses her.

To Russia With Love Below are writer's notes and missing scenes from To Russia With Love: When Mac joins Harm on the plane: Mac: Look we're moving. Notes say "Harm leans back, secretly pleased." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Checking in at the hotel: Mac's Russian comments are said to be "Excuse me, I'm no bimbo" {Becky's note: however, in Russian, the word they used is typically translated, "slut."} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Harm is dreaming and Mac is watching him: The notes say "She is sitting in bed, knees up and blanket to her chin, studying Harm in his sleep. What is she thinking? And is he naked under that blanket?" …..Harm wakes, sees Mac and gives her a small smile. Harm: Morning Mac: Morning, Aren't you cold? I'm freezing. Harm's wondering if she`s naked under the blanket, too.
