I know of a good Life Sciences University in Norway

I mentioned Norway just in case she would like to consider another option nearby.
I am now killing time at the Health Sciences Library at Sunnybrook, where the Internet is terribly slow. I’ll look for the information when I get home and post it then.

והיה לי פעם נוקיה 3010 שנורא אהבתי.. אבל מעבר לזה אני לא מכיר את פינלנד או הלימודים בה.
 
אבל.. מתחילים לחקור לגבי לימודים בפינלנד כמו שמתחילים בכל מקום אחר.. חפשי את המוסדות המובילים בפינלנד, ובדקי אילו תוכניות הם מציעים בתחום הביולוגיה או תחומים משיקים לביולוגיה. בימינו, למחלקות יש אתרים מצוינים עם כל המידע על תנאי קבלה, עלויות.. ואם יש לך אזרחות אירופית אז את בכלל כנראה מסודרת. אם לא עשית משהו מזה, אני מתחיל שתתחילי מקצת מחקר עצמאי!

דיברתי על זה לפני כמה שנים עם קולגה פינית שעשתה באותה תקופה דוקטורט באונוברסיטת Turku. אם זכרוני אינו מטעה אותי, הדרישה שם לסיום הדוקטורט היתה של לפחות ארבעה-חמישה פרסומים בג׳ורנאלים מובילים כמחבר ראשון, ודוקטורט בביולוגיה נמשך שם אז כשמונה שנים בממוצע. חשוב לציין כמובן שזה מידע שעבר כמה שנים של דגירה אצלי, וסביר להניח שלפחות סבב אחד של טלפון שבור עם אפרכסת אחת עם מבטא פיני ואפרכסת שנייה עם מבטא ישראלי כבד, מסעדת רחוב ברומא וכמה כוסות יין, אז שווה לוודא שמה שכתבתי כאן שריר.

At the Norwegian University of Life Sciences it took one of my contacts four years to get a PhD in Molecular Microbiology. That person went on to do a post doc with a Nobel prize winner.

As a personal example: My former lawyer graduated from a mediocre university, he was a mediocre law student, and he went on to become a leading high profile lawyer listed as distinguished on the Lexis Nexus Martindale-Hubbell peer review. He and his moronic law clerk destroyed my case, my health, my access to medical care, to compensation, and to justice. And I was a special client who he claimed to like...
Other leading lawyers want me to report him. But even though I haven't yet, he knows what I am capable of, and he is petrified of what I would do. He knows that I do not intend to let him do to others what he has done to me...
