The weird love triangle between Kian from Westlife, Liz from Atomic Kitten and Lee from Blue has taken another bizarre turn. Kian Egan, 22, has talked openly to 3am about his concerns about ex-girlfriend Liz, who has got back in contact with him even though she dumped him in February. The Irish singer and the 22-year-old Kitten had a two-month romance - a decade in the showbiz world - before Liz gave him the elbow and got back together with ex-boyfriend Lee Ryan only a week later. Since then, Liz and Lee's on-again, off-again relationship seems to be more off than on, with the 19-year-old Blue boy claiming recently that he's too young to be tied down. "She's a lovely girl and I really hope she is happy," Kian said moments before appearing on stage at Wembley with the band on Thursday night. "But one minute Liz is with Lee and the next she isn't. I don't understand it. "She is a lovely girl when you're going out with her - but then when you're not going out with her she changes. It's hard to explain. "I think she has confidence issues." But could Liz, who is currently single, be missing Kian now that she has split from party boy Lee? "Well, she hasn't been texting me loads but she hasn't not been texting me," he said. Baffled? So were we. But it's no wonder that Liz is hankering after Kian again. He is laying off the lager and has been hitting the gym in an attempt to fight off the fat. Unlike those naughty Blue boys, who seem to be addicted to cheesy nightclubs. "I've really done the whole partying-in-London thing," Kian insisted. "Since the tour started, I've been on this health kick," he added, swigging from a bottle of mineral water. "I've been going to the gym loads. I'm really getting into my health regime." What a change from the Guinness and fry-up days, when Westlife were accused of getting a little too tubby. Could Kian even be looking to settle down? "Oh, I don't know," he blushed. "If I were to go out with someone else, it would have to be someone who didn't care about this whole fame thing..." That will certainly be difficult. During their "Unbreakable" tour, more than a million people have seen Westlife in concert. No wonder Liz might be interested again. After they broke up in February, she told us: "We really only went on a couple of dates. He's going on a massive tour and we decided just to be friends." Now that the tour is over maybe she has changed her mind. We don't blame her.
