יש פולין אחרת...
הנה קטע וידאו מתוך הטלויזיה הפולנית, הבוקר בשעה 09:00 (!) והנה מה שאחי, טום, כתב בעקבות צפייה בשידור:
ביממה האחרונה היינו עדים כולנו לסיפורי הזוועה של ניצולי השואה. מיליונים נרצחו על לא עוול בכפיהם, בין השאר ואולי בעיקר על אדמת פולין. היום, בצל הזיכרונות הקשים מאותה תקופה אפלה בהיסטוריה, מצאתי נקודת אור. כפולני גאה, שמחתי לגלות שלא כולם שונאים אותנו, לא כולם מתנערים מאחריות, היום גיליתי שישנה פולין אחרת. תראו איזה כבוד עושים לנו בפולין, היום, יום הזיכרון לשואה ולגבורה. וכן, למרות הכאב הלאומי והצער המשפחתי (סבי ז"ל איבד את כל משפחתו בשואה) אני גאה להיות פולני!
At the last day we all witnessed the horror stories of holocaust survivors. Millions of innocent Jews were killed during the 2nd World war in Poland and among other European countries. Today, in the shadow of the horrible reminder of those dark days of history I was proud to discover that we are not everybody hate us. There is a different Poland. Have a look how the Polish TV honors our Holocaust memorial day... despite the pain and sorrow we all share due to the national lose and despite my own family tragedy (My grandfather lost ALL his family in the holocaust) I am proud to be Polish!
