In the case of Atomic Kitten, that grey period seems to already be over, and it's starting to look a little black. The papes have been sniffing around EMI records investigating the claims made by Liz and Jenny Kitten that they are both gonna sign record deals worth £250,000. And it seems that this is a little wide of the truth. An EMI snitch told the Mirror: "This was never the case. There is not enough interest in the girls to justify that type of cash. Individually they just don't have the fan base." And that same narky insider has gone on to cast doubts that the Kits will be getting back together after their 'time off', even wondering what the point would be if they did: "I can't see them reforming. In a year's time will people really be interested in new material by Atomic Kitten?" Clearly someone at EMI is in a huff cos the girls forgot their birthday, right?
