KITTY SPAT Feb 17 2004 By Niki Waldegrave ATOMIC Kitten star Jenny Frost has launched a bitter attack on Queen of the Jungle Kerry McFadden. The claws came out after Kerry made barbed comments about the group during her stint on I'm a Celebrity. Jenny 25, who replaced Kerry in the chart-topping trio, admits she is furious with the mum-of-two. She stormed: "She's off her head if she thinks she was hard done by in the band. I can't believe what she was saying. "All I can think is that the lack of food in the jungle made her delirious and totally lose her grip on reality." Kerry told her celebrity pals that she was the founder member of the group. But Jenny says: "That's rubbish. Liz McLarnon started the band with Kerry - it was never just Kerry's band." There is little love lost between Kerry and Jenny, who joined Liz and Natasha Hamilton when Kerry quit in 2000. But what really riled Jenny was the claim that she mimed Kerry's vocals on the video for their No1, Whole Again. She was incensed when Kerry told her campmates on I'm a Celebrity: "It was my voice. She did the video." Jenny ranted: "There was no way I'd appear in a video singing over Kerry's vocals. They were my vocals in the video not hers. That's absolute c**p." Recently it was revealed the Kittens plan a year's break once their current tour ends later this year. And Jenny, who is poised to sign a solo deal, says their last night together promises to be an emotional occasion. She jokes in the latest issue of Now! magazine, out tomorrow: "Don't expect us to either sing in tune or get the words out right - because we're all going to be crying on stage." Meanwhile 23-year-old Kerry paid a surprise visit yesterday to TV's Back to Reality contestants. She took champagne and delighted the Five housemates by announcing she had ordered them a Chinese takeaway. She confided that she has hardly seen Westlife husband Bryan since leaving the Australian rain forest. And as she was given a tour of the house she gasped: "I can't believe how nice this place is. You've got a wardrobe, I had a sack. You're dead lucky."
