Basic Qualifications
•4+ years working as a DBA, at least one year experience with Oracle 11g (with RAC)
•Experience and knowledge of maintaining databases in Linux / Unix OS
•R&D assistance experience
•Experience in Designing DB
•Expertise in Oracle database monitoring, tuning, and upgrades
•SQL and PL/SQL writing and tuning - A must.
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
•Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
•Bachelors of Science degree in a technical field or equivalent experience – An advantage
•R&D background as a developer a plus
•DWH experience
•Experience working in an Agile (scrum), and/or iterative development methodology -– An advantage.
•Preferred experience and familiarity with other RDBMS such as MySQL , SQL Server or Vertica
