The rocker admits he fought to keep the track off BON JOVI's hit album SLIPPERY WHEN WET and was astonished when record company executives insisted the group released it as a single. He says, "I can't tell you that from the moment we wrote Living On A Prayer that I thought it should even be included on the Slippery When Wet record. "It's probably the cornerstone of one of our greatest hits. "I just thought it was OK. It was number one for I don't know how many weeks and it was truly a staple of our career."​

מסתבר שהדבר שהוא הכי מתחרט עליו זה העובדה שהוא לא ניצל את ההזדמנויות שהוא לו בצעירותו להפגש עם פרנק סינטרה.

מתוך הסיבה הנורמלית שלא כולם פה ספצים באיגיליש, (כן כן, גמני... מודה...) ומאוד אוהבים את בון ג'ובי ורוצים לשמוע התפתחויות, יש מצב שאתם מתמצתים את זה לעברית<?

הלהקה היתה קרובה להתפרקות.

בתקציר: לפני כמה שנים, לא מצוין מתי, הלהקה כמעט נפלה תחת לחץ מצד מנהל הלהקה, עורכי הדין, ורואי החשבון שגרמו ללהקה להופיע יותר, להקליט יותר ומה רק לא. הלהקה היתה על סף התפרקות. ג'ון הבין שהוא לא רואה שום סיבה להתפרק, אין שום כאסח בלהקה, אז הוא פשוט לקח את העניינים לידיים, פיטר כמה אנשים, ומעכשיו הם מנהלים את עצמם וממתנים את הלחץ. כתבה מלאה - כאן.
