Beware of Maya -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello hello hello... it's night time once again. i'm safe at home. today has been a monday. We are ankle deep in pre production for the next album... the official 2nd album. And it's going well... very well. I love our new songs. I love how everything is going right now. Up and down and all around. At this moment Krishna Das is singing on the stereo... his album Door of Faith... produced by Rick Rubin. Tre Medativo!!! Is everything a joke with me? yes and no. It's ok to be a smart ass if you believe in God. I heard a great quote the other day that i want to share with you all... "Once you believe in God, there is no religion" makes sense to me... Are you in mood for some question? If so... read on... if not... drop dead... Here goes: 1. If this is not an infinite universe... what is just beyond the furthest edge? 2. If this is an infinite universe... how can anything contained in it be finite? 3. Are you happy? 4. If you're not happy, do you know what isn't right in your life? 5. Can you change the things that are in your control? 6. Can you tolerate the things that aren't? 7. Can you learn to know the difference? 8. Have you smiled today? 9. Did you smile after reading that last question? 10. Are you still smiling? If you answered YES to three or more, GOOD JOB!!! give yourself a pat on the back. YOU DESERVE IT!!! If you have the answer to questions 1 or 2... congratulations, you're God... but then... you already knew that. P.S. Just kidding... i think we're all god. even if we don't have all the answers. So... where were we? ah yes... you are sitting there and i am sitting here... although... not at the exact same time... right now for me means something different than right now for you. It's interesting to think of all the different stages of our lives each of us is at right now... Some of you are young, and some of you are even younger. I wonder what the youngest and the oldest peoples' ages are who have read this post... let's make a Topic in the message board about our ages and let's see some numbers... ok!!! For those of you in school these days... i hope it's fun. For those of you holding down jobs in the "real" world, I hope you're feeling happy and balanced as well. Remember that we are the product of our what surrounds us on a day to day basis, and we are also each in charge of choosing our own paths. We've all got to enjoy whatever is going on in our lives while it's happening, because nothing stays the same for very long. The Krishna Das album is over. So am I. for now. JESSE
