You need a work permit. For that you need an employer to apply for one for you so you will need to find somewhere that will be interested in hiring you. If you have a european passport you won´t need that as you can work without a special permit. Regarding finding potential employers - check in general on the Internet and also on www.yell.co.uk - which is the english Tello Pages and you can put in - Jewlers for examples and a place and you get addresses and telephone numbers and you can enquire with them personally.
