first of all i must congradulate u
on your wonderfull discovery, most of the people i know dont give orntte the full respect he deserves, first as a composer and secondly as an alto sax player , he was the first to explore single-mindedly free improvisation. try listening to one of my favorits of his recordings a record called THE SHAPE OF JAZZ TO COME -this record touches the r&b style through some rythems and solos and shows the similarity between orentte and charlie parker . about ornette coleman miles davis once said "if your'e talking psychologically, the man is all screwed up inside" (well not exactly in those words but quite simular) you can try and put your hands on a record called SOMETHING ELSE wich is great by all means but less interesting at least from my point of view, but is still considered great if any of you is wandering what's going on with me (probably not but....) i'm doing fine hopfully i'll come back to visit our lovely country (and beleive me from here it's lovely) next year . locnar-you have done a terrible mistake, you should have gotten yourself together , picked your former band members and come preforme here , you'll make a fortune!!!!!!!!!!.. trust me... I've got a dozen fans lined up waiting for your arrival (and couple of hot babes as-well){just kidding about the dozen fans i've only got 2 babes
}.... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha for any of you who would like to keep in touch with me you could do so by leaving me a massege in my box here in tapuz or write directly to my e-mail at [email protected] i'm having some trubble reading your messages daily so dont expect a quick answer and for those of you who are going to the fest-have a blasting time you would'nt even imagine how i'de love to be there with you guys but the distance has got a heavy bordon on my neck if you know what i mean..... the jazz festival in the red sea is probebly one of the best i've attended in through my short period of lifetime by-the-way the offer for coffee is still on- you are all invited to my hamble house in ohio u.s.a

מה המצב? יש סיבה שבפעמים המעטות שאתה מגיח לכאן אתה לא מספק את סקרנותנו, ומרחיב קצת על עזיבתך הפתאומית דאז, ומעשיך בניכר??? מספר חוויות...? יהיה נחמד לשמוע סוף סוף מה הרחיק אותך מבירת הכלום התרבותי העולמית לטובת עקרון התוססת במדינת התפו"א (או שזו בעצם לא זאת... )... תודה על היחצנות הטרנס-אטלנטית ללהקתי לשעבר עליה השלום, השם ינקום דמה!!! תיצרר נשמתה בצרור הרילבוק!!! אבל עליך לזכור כי לפני זה אך כחצי שנה גם עבדך הנאמן חזר מארה"ב... ותאמין לי, אחרי בירור מעמיק של הסוגיה על כל היבטיה, הוברר, כי לא זו בלבד שלא נרוויח הון כדבריך, אלא שאף לא נוכל לדאוג לעצמנו לקיום מינימלי. ברמת השטח אכן הייתה הענות רבה למוסיקה... בבתי ספר למוסיקה באל איי הייתה לחומר הצלחה יפה, אנשים רצו לרכוש דיסקים, אמנים קיבלו פרזנטציות שלנו שזכו לביקורות מגניבות, אפילו הושמענו ברדיו קצת כי איזה מגיש אחד התלהב מהחומר... אבל - ברמת מקבלי ההחלטות ההישגים השיווקיים הסתכמו ב0. מפיקים, אמרגנים, פסטיבלים וכו' לא כיבדו אותנו בתשובה. תודה על התמיכה הנאמנה בכל מקרה!!! יש בזה מן הנחמה לדעת שיש מישהו שנהנה מפרי עמלינו ושומר על הגחלת ובקשר לקפה, נראה לי שנמתין לשובך ארצה, כי אני באוקטובר מתחיל ללמוד הרבה, וכל השנה, כך שאני לא נוסע לשום מקום לפחות 4-5 שנים...

that ... first i'de like to say that there are somethings that would better of left aside ,currently i'm working with a sound and stages company and travell through festivals in the united states , setting up the sound to artists all over the state , all my expances have been paid primarly to my arrivell over here , even my plane ticket . now come and tell me it is'nt a great offer to a man in my position . that is probebly the best thing that have happend to me im the past few years , i have some freinds over here in the states that keep me company , scattered through the land , i get to see them acasionally . now. thats not the main reason for my sudden left - but as i've said there are somethings that would better left alone -and thats not to trigger your cureosity besides all that bullshit - if jazz is the subject...... so i happen to hold in my hands at this very moment a record by duke ellington in coopaeration with max roach and charlie mingus , an exallent cd called MONEY JUNGLE those 3 jazzmen sure know their beats!!!!!! worth every second of it !!!!
