בעיה עם שד אחד שהתעייף

שלום אסתר , מזל טוב על הפורום החדש!!! אני מניקה את ביתי בת השישה וחצי חודשים, מגיל 4 וחצי חודשים היא מקבלת חלב שאוב במהלך היום מכיון שחזרתי לעבודה. בעייתי היא שבשבועיים האחרונים כמעט ואין לי חלב בשד השמאלי, ניתן לראות זאת בברור בגודל השד - הוא הצטמק מאד! וכמו כן בשאיבה ממנו כמעט ולא יוצא דבר. ברור לי שביתי מקבלת מספיק חלב , מכיון ששד ימין הכפיל את תפוקתו כניראה. אך זה מפריע לי מאד מבחינה ויזואלית. ניסיתי להתחיל כל שאיבה ויניקה מצד שמאל , אך ללא תוצאות והמצב רק מחמיר. בימים האחרונים יוצאות ממנו רק טיפות בודדות!! מה ניתן לעשות?? תודה.

Apparantly your baby fed more efficiently on the "good" side. Either you fed her more often there, or forgot to start on a different breast each feed. Did you have a breast infection on that side? Were your breasts very assymetric to begin with? Some ideas: 1. pump on that side even if nothing comes out. PUmp for 2 minutes with nothing coming out. 2. Let your baby suck on that side when she is less humgry. Prolonged sucking may bring the milk back. 3. Pad your bra on that side for esthetic reasons. Remember those shoulder pads you cut out of clothing? If you didn´t throw them away, they are great to pad your bra. If not, then put extra breast pads in your bra.​
