Serving in the IDF

I would like to go to Israel and serve in the IDF for a longer time after I have finished school (I am German, 16 year old will finisg school in 3 years) as I am no jew I would ike to know, if it is possible or if I have to be there for a longer time to serve.

hi when you say that you are not jewish - do you have anyone in your immidiate family that is jewish? i am asking because i want to find out weather you are eligible according to the law of return to make Aliyah

well exeactly that IS my problem, I have no relatives (no that I know) that are jewish.
