העיסוק הוא ב"דגם ב' " שהפך ללוגו ב"דגם א' "those are new bus stop designs
in the 60s and 70s I recall a much earlier bus stop design, which has much more in common with the bus stop shown in the photo posted by evyatar of the ancient 'minibus' on route 7 in the 30s.
the ones you referred to above made their appearance 25 yrs ago,.

and I am talking about the 1960s and 1970sהעיסוק הוא ב"דגם ב' " שהפך ללוגו ב"דגם א' "
Hand I am talking about the 1960s and 1970s
You really have to start at the beginning, and for Dan and Egged it is 1945 and 1951 respectively.
of course it took some time to come up with a new bus stop design, and both companies replaced their insignia with something new in the 60s.
The Dan bus stops were rectangular and not square. the design dates back to the 1950s. I still recall some old bus stops with the old Dan insignia as late as the mid 70s.
The Dan bus stop of that times owes a lot to the previous Hammavir 1930s design, pls refer to the photo Evyatar posted a few days ago.
The Egged bus stops- at least in what is now greater Tel Aviv were square, and simply showed Egged insignia, with space for a route number at the back or at the bottom.
in the early 80s, the bus stop design was updated, but that had to do with a new bus shelter design; there were two designs:
there was the urban fibreglass bus shelter, with lots of space for adverts, an important income source for bus company. those replaced virtually all the previous bus stops in central Tel Aviv.
On this occasion, the actual bus stop flag was redesigned as well, giving more prominence to route information,[ i.e. route number and destination], it was a 'square' shape bus stop,
This bus shelter design was used by Egged as well, and with the same dimensional bus stop flag as before, just giving more prominence to route numbers and destinations.
those are the 1980s bus stops you are referring to as 'A' and 'B'. to me both owe their origin/inspiration to the previous generations of bus stop flag designs rather than London's.
I am afraid I do not see the similarity between any of those and the famous 'bullseye' design used in London.
The bullseye is a registered trademark, and London Transport would have sued- even in Israel - if they thought that there was much of a resemblance.
As for the Haifa and North of Israel region of Egged: yes, that bus stop design goes back to the 1940s/1950s, owes much to the Germanic world, and survived till the 1980, and in Zfath as well [tks for reminding me!].

There is no similarity between those bus stop
I do not accept ccyclist assertion that there are similarities between the traditional LT bus stop and the various bus stops in Israel.
I think this idea is a bit far fetched.
therefore there was no ground for any legal action...
BTW, London Transport Executive ceased to exist in the 1980s; I can confirm that LTE did take legal action against unauthorised usage of the famous bullseye. I know that the idea sounds ludicrous, but that's what was done. We have it on very high authority.
I do not know what the current TfL management views are- they certainly still take legal action in the UK [I know of at least one case from 2012].
However none of this is applicable in this case, as there are no similarities to speak of.

http://www.londonbusblinds.com/prodimages/BSPAPER01 underground.JPG
