Invitation to participate in The Baby Album production. Dear parents, The Baby Album is a new production of BABY TV. BABY TV is a first of its kind channel, offering 24 hours a day of commercial-free television created especially for six months to three year olds. BABY TV's content and programming is produced under the guidance of leading child psychologists and infant development experts and is uniquely designed to encourage parent-baby interaction, fostering a positive experience in parenthood. BABY TV is broadcast in different countries throughout the world, and will be broadcasting all around Europe starting September 2005. The Baby Album production includes home videos of infants from around the world, edited into a colorful televised album. The clips are 1.5-2 minutes long. Through this program we wish to encourage awareness of the existence of a variety of cultures, and the mutual understanding among them. If your baby is a newborn, infant or toddler and you are interested in him or her becoming a participant, please send us an e-mail to: [email protected] The e-mail should include some general details about your child and the family (name and age of the child, number of family members etc.). Please send e-mails in English only. After receiving your e-mail we will contact you and send you a consent form to be returned together with home videos of your child, at least 15 minutes long, in a mini DV format. The home videos will be edited by the production team into a short clip that will be broadcasted in BABY TV soon. Participation is absolutely free of charge. Waiting for your e-mails!
