שלום- רציתי לשאול מה בעצם הסיבה שצריך להניק שני הצדדים בכל הנקה? מה הבעיה אם התינוק יונק בכל פעם משד אחר? זה מאוד חשוב- תודה מראש!

some recommend to moms to feed from one side and even of the baby seems to want more, to return to the same side. The result is that the other side remains full for many hours. If the milk remains in the breast for a long time, it will start to produce a substance called FIL ( feedback inhibitor of lactation) which signals the breasts to make less milk. The next feed, the mom will go to this fuller breast. Now the other breast will get fuller and fuller and start to decrease the milk supply. By about 2 months after the birth, this mom may not have enough milk for her baby. If you want to keep making more and more milk, keep the milk moving, from both breasts. We recommend one-sided feeds to mothers who have over supply becuase it will help decrease the amount of milk, but even in these cases,I would only recommend it for a week to 10 days. YOu would not know whether or not you have over supply until about 3 weeks after the birth. ,

השאלה היא למעשה לגיסתי - אני כותבת דחוף מיכוון שהתינוק בן שבוע ונראה לי שכל טעות בהנקה יכולה להיות בעלת השפעה מרובה בשלב זה וצריך לתקן מיד (אם יש צורך). היא פשוט מוצאת שקל לה יותר לתת בכל הנקה צד אחד- והתינוק יונק משך 35-40 דקות. היא ביקשה שאשאל. שאלה נוספת: מה יכולה להיות הסיבה שהתינוק מעדיף צד אחד באופן מובהק, תופס יותר טוב בצד אחד וכו'? האם יש דרך לשנות את זה? חוץ מזה נראה שההנקה הולכת חלק.
