מחפש מידע על מס' משפחות ...

כיוון שהמידע שיש לי הוא חלקי מאוד, עד היום לא מצאתי את המשפחות המדויקות. אני מחפש את צאצאי Bertha Mantel ו-Lea Dan אני מניח שלאה היא בתה של ברתה כיוון שיש לי תמונה שחתומה מאחור L.D. ,המצולמים הם כנראה לאה ושני בניה הצעירים בשנות הארבעים (אך יתכן שהמצב הפוך וברתה היא בתה של לאה). מדובר על משפחה שהיגרה לארה"ב בתחילת המאה ה-20 מגליציה המזרחית (אולי אזור Jaroslaw) מידע לא ברור נוסף הוא שיתכן שהם גרו ב- Fort Lauderdale. ברתה ולאה הן קרובות של סבתי ממשפחת Knoebel/Knebel. משפחה נוספת היא משפחת Feldman (וגם לגביה המידע חלקי מאוד), הם התגוררו ב-Rochester או Dorchester בשנות 1930-1950 . השמות שיש לי הם של האחים Hinda ו- Louis Leizer Feldman . הם קרובי סבתי ממשפחת Kinderfreund. גם היגרו מגליציה. בשל הפרטים הלא ברורים ושכיחות השם פלדמן גם עליהם לא מצאתי מידע מדויק. מידע נוסף שלא הצלחתי למצוא הוא על דודה של סבתי Wolf Hersch Glocer/Glotzer מ-Wolkowysk שכנראה ניצל מגורל משפחתו בזמן השואה כיוון שהיה בארה"ב בזמן המלחמה. מעניין אותי מה עלה בגורלו. אודה על כל סיוע או מידע.

Since my information is very partial, I never found the exact families. I'm looking for the descendants of Bertha Mantel and Lea Dan. I assume that Lea is the daughter of Bertha, since I have an image signed on the back with the initials L.D. The photographed are probably Lea and her two young sons during the 1940's (but it might be the other way around and Bertha is the daughter of Lea). This is a family that emmigrated to USA in the beginning of the 20th century from Eastern Galicia (perhaps Jaroslaw region). Further unclear information is that they might have lived in Fort Lauderdale. Bertha and Lea are relatives of my grandmother from Knoebel/Knebel family. Another family is Feldman (also very partial information). They lived in Rochester or Dorchester during the 1930's-1950's. The names I have are of the brothers Hinda and Louis Leizer Feldman. They are relatives of my grandmother from Kinderfreund family. They also emigrated from Galicia. Due to the unclear details and the frequency of the name Feldman, I didn't find exact information about them. Further information I did not succeed in finding is about an uncle of my grandmother - Wolf Hersch Glocer/Glotzer from Wolkowysk, which probably spared his family's fate during the Holocust since he was in the USA during the war. I wonder what happened to him. I would appreciate any help or information.​

אני מחפשת את עקבותיו של Endre Nemes יליד העיר Pelsoc (היום Plešivec בסלובקיה), בנם של Gyula Nemes ו - Iren Hupert. נולד כנראה בתחילת שנות העשרים של המאה הקודמת. הוא היגר לארה"ב אחרי מלחמת העולם השניה וחי בשיקגו לפחות עד שנות הששים, אז אבדו לנו עקבותיו. שם המשפחה המקורי של האב היה Neumann ואיש לא זוכר האם Endre הוא חזר לשם הזה בגרסתו המקורית או האנגלית, או שמא נשאר עם שם המשפחה Nemes. תודה על הסיוע!

I'm looking for Endre Nemes from Pelsoc (today Plešivec, Slovakia), son of Gyula Nemes and Iren Hupert. I think that he was born on the beginning of the 1920's. He emigrated to the US after WWII and lived in Chicago at least until the 1960's, then we lost his traces. The original family name of the father was Neumann and noone remembers wether Endre reverted to this name in its original version or the english one, or maybe he continued using the family name Nemes. Dear V. My great great uncle, Isaac SALASNIK (ZHELEZNIK?) was born in Slonim 1856, to Miriam Bathia (TROTZKI) and Dov Ber Aaron SALASNIK who were born around 1835. Isaac's known son, Moshe Jacob (born about 1890 in Berdichev) may have been a General in the Russian army. I am looking for any relatives from the SALASNIK branch of my family.
