Question regarding coconut oil
Hi Paula, I was wondering what is your opinion regarding coconut oil. There is quite a lot of contradicting information out there. I was told it is good as it is somehow anti-bacteril/fungus whatever and was recommended to have 3 spoons a day. Well I only had one because honestly even though I find it to be really tasty - it's not worth the calories for me... But 6 month later my cholesterol got higher (I didn't eat any eggs, meat, sugar, fried food at the time) . Some say that it can lower cholesterol, so I don't know... Maybe it was something else? (I heard something about many fruits cause raise in cholesterol, can that be??? sounds awfully strange) Anyway - should I include coconut oil in my diet or avoid it? Many thanks Paula!!!
